When your world has been impacted by grief and the death of a loved one, you are forever changed. Who we were and what used to make us happy and feel alive, the dreams we had, and what used to be important to us, slip away and begin to fade. We run on auto-pilot, a shell of who we used to be, feeling lost, angry, overwhelmed, sad, confused, anxious, scared, and alone.


The reality is that navigating grief is hard. There is no magic switch that can be flipped to make the pain and sadness go away. We each have our own healing path.


I am here to remind you that there can be life after loss. You can rediscover who you are and bring purpose and joy back into your life after experiencing the death of a loved one.

I've Been There

My world was shattered in 2007 at the age of 29 when my husband was killed in the line of duty. I was left alone to raise our 8-month old daughter while navigating traumatic grief and the Canadian justice system. I began picking up the pieces of my broken life to find a sense of myself again.


I know what it's like to grapple with grief and navigate the world as an only parent, facing a reality I never imagined. I know that you can heal and move forward into the next stage of life with confidence and authenticity.


That's exactly what I share with people in the book I wrote Choosing My Tomorrow: Surviving Murder, Navigating Mental Health, and Harnessing the Power of Choice and to groups and audiences during my keynotes and presentations.


This is how I help my coaching clients too, helping them navigate their grief to understand and articulate their needs, redefine their sense of self, and rebuild their confidence to find meaning in their new reality, teaching them to harness their power of choice and live a joyful and meaningful life after loss.
